Is there anyone capable of battling not one, but, two Thanos simultaneously? Yes, Silver Surfer is the man for the job – given he has at his disposal the Power Cosmic as well as the hammer of Thor: Mjolnir.
Comic book Thanos #16 reveals that King Thanos’ main enemy was the future version of NorrinRadd himself, equipped with Thor’s weapon of choice. Writer Donny Cates and artist Geoff Shaw are now all set to let the Surfer loose on his purple enemies and the crazy cosmic-powered Ghost Rider aka Frank Castle.
Although the issue starts with the glimpse of the Surfer acquiring Mjolnir, it doesn’t reveal the whole thing. Despite the fact that we don’t get to know if he was indeed the new God of Thunder, it is evident that he is as worthy of wielding the hammer as the Son of Odin or Jane Foster ever were.
