Hulk Will Be Afraid Of Thanos In ‘Avengers: Infinity War’

The way things are shaping up, it appears that the Hulk is going to be the first person to tackle Thanos during the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War. Their brief meeting will result in Thanos hurling him back to Earth with a sinister message for his fellow  Avengers.

Last summer, there was a media visit to the set of Avengers: Infinity War in Georgia, where the Hulk was first time seen in his Bruce Banner form entering Wakanda. His accompanying Avengers was meaningful, but, as we saw during the post-credits of Thor: Ragnarok where Thanos’ ship intercepted them, things might deteriorate very quickly. Mark Ruffalo stated.

“Banner knows probably more about Thanos than anybody,”Ruffalo said. “He’s really trying to impress on everybody how dangerous he is. It’s a little bit of a Chicken Little. He comes in screaming, ‘Bloody murder!’ He’s seen what damage [Thanos] can cause and how powerful he is. The entire group is in disarray, so there’s also getting caught up on what’s happened here. He’s trying to get them to transcend their differences and impress upon them how much danger they’re actually facing.”

It is a great perspective shared by the star, since Thor had undertaken his spiritual trip for introspection related to Infinity Stones, during Avengers: Age of Ultron and is by Hulk’s side during his encounter with Thanos’ Sanctuary 2 spaceship. Further, Banner was not present at Earth throughout Civil War events, which created a gulf between his friends and both factions fighting each other.

“The Hulk is also mightily impressed by Thanos,”Ruffalo said. Fortunately, it is the Hulk’s capability of communication and thinking that will continue to evolve as seen during Thor: Ragnarok.”The division between Hulk and Banner is starting to blur a little bit,”Ruffalo said. “You have a Hulk that can actually express himself without being angry.” Those are the skills which will serve him well when he will make new friends such as the Black Panther and his country of Wakanda.

Avengers: Infinity War releases on April 27, 2018.
