Deathstroke, aka Slade Wilson, is DC Comics’ foremost assassin and is also a kind of anti-Batman who has been called whenever the bad guys want someone to be dead. And if this sounds very familiar, it is because Marvel’s Deadpool (Wade Wilson) had been created as a rip off of Deathstroke.

Release Date:
In October 2017, Warner Bros and DC had been announced to work on a Deathstroke film, and this joins an ‘in development’ list which consists of Batgirl, Justice League Dark, Nightwing, a Harley Quinn movie, Cyborg, a non-DCEU Joker film, Harley Quinn and Joker team-up movie more.
We cannot say for sure when the Deathstroke movie will release.
Cast:
In 2015, it had been rumoured that Joe Manganiello would play Slade Wilson in Suicide Squad. This did not happen, and we then learned that the actor had been attached to the role in the Ben Affleck solo movie The Batman.
In October 2017, Manganiello had been announced to get a solo movie, and in November the actor had made an appearance in Justice League’s post-credits scene.
Director, Gareth Evans has now signed to direct this movie, and there are no cast members who have been announced as of now, and we are just wondering if Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor may appear after him meeting Deathstroke in Justice League.
Plot:
Warner Bros has not given out much details about the plot.
Deathstroke is always brought in to kill a person. In spite of the fact that he is ‘the best’, things do not always go the way he wants. He was as a Batman villain and is known for his antagonism with the Teen Titans.
Deathstroke also has a lot of family troubles, and his children go off the rails, intermittently dying and then returning to life.
Costume:
We have seen Deathstroke on TV in Arrow and Manganiello’s outfit has brought up the show vs. movie costume debate.
We are wondering if Arrow’s Manu Bennett and the hockey-mask-inspired suit can wipe the floor with Manganiello’s complex costume?
