Disney Is On Full Throttle On Black Panther’s Oscar Campaign – Details Inside

Disney is now preparing itself to give Black Panther a try at the Oscars. After less than a month after release, Black Panther has become a fan-favorite. This film is breaking records and is now making its way to the top of the box office charts. The money that Black Panther is earning is just one thing, and it is now being considered to be sent for nomination at the Oscars.

Disney is now ready to support the blockbuster, and Black Panther will get an awards campaign. This news comes from a top executive who said that they would be pushing Black Panther, for Best Picture. While a lot of superhero films have tried to secure this post, none have actually succeeded.

A Best Picture nomination is a very high goal, and Black Panther may see a whole lot of other nominations coming its way. Ruth E. Carter is now being praised for her costumes and is a two-time Oscar nominee. There is a case to be made for Hannah Beachler’s production design, Ryan Coogler’s direction and Ludwig Göransson’s score.

Although this is Disney’s plan and they may follow through with this, we cannot be sure what the year holds. Black Panther does seem like a top five film, but many other movies are on its way. The greatest thing that Black Panther will require is for the conversation about it to not fade away.  The movie has resonated with many people, and its cultural impact might even push it to the forefront. Black Panther is a superhero film, and it will really have to break a lot of more myths and succeed at the Oscars.
