Did We See A Dead Vision In The Avengers: Infinity War Trailer?

As the release of Avengers: Infinity War gets closer, there will be much excitement and anticipation to see the greatest character ensemble ever seen on the big screen. Beginning with Iron Man in 2008 when MCU made its official debut 10 years ago to now, Infinity War will bring around 25-30 Superheroes together on the silver screen, which will be a first in a comic book movie.

Some of these Superheroes may die in the movie while some are going to continue and take the MCU forward. The potential deaths expected are Captain America, Nebula, Iron Man, and many more, but the character who has the biggest target on his head is Vision.

He has an Infinity Stone embedded in within his head, and with Thanos collecting all the Infinity Stones, Vision’s life is in real danger. This is what The Russo Bros have said:

“Cap makes the decision to bring [Vision] here to Wakanda. Earth is making its last stand to keep the stone from Thanos. It’s the best place to make your last stand.Vision is a living MacGuffin. Obviously, that raises the stakes because Vision’s life is in danger, and his life is in conflict with Thanos’ goals, so something’s got to give.”

Vision will be brought to Wakanda, and in the first trailer, we see Corvus Glaive ripping out the Mind Stone from Vision’s head. The recent trailer confirmed that as we saw Captain America being welcomed in Wakanda along with Bruce, Falcon, Rhodey, Vision, Wanda, and Natasha. So it could mean Captain America manages to save Vision from Corvus Glaive.

It has been teased that he may not survive the movie and may be one of the heroes who are killed. In the trailer, there is a scene where Shuri shows a holographic image of a disembodied Vision lying down with his eyes closed.

Vision is not known for taking a nap or being unconscious, so, it is not known whether he already died after coming to Wakanda or if Shuri has healed him and is testing how the Mind Stone can be protected from reaching Thanos. This explains the Seige in Wakanda as Thanos tries to retrieve the Mind Stone which the Wakandans and Avengers are protecting.

So, it is highly likely that Vision will be under protection and probably healing from the Wounds caused by Glaive and will be absent from the attack. Avengers: Infinity War will release in theatres on April 27.  Here is the official Synopsis:

“An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe”.
