Mark Hamill’s “Last Day On Millennium Falcon” Video Is Tear Jerking (Video)

The latest movie in the Star Wars franchise, The last Jedi may have drawn curtains on our hero, Luke Skywalker.

Lucasfilm has now released a new video of the actor, Mark Hamill as he was on set of the Millennium Falcon during the promotion of the Blu-ray release of Episode 8.

“I’m seeing it through different eyes now,” Hamill had said.

“And everyone says this, they said ‘it all seems so much smaller when you were there.’”

This documentary along with the home video release, The Director, and the Jedi, showed the fans much more of Hamill’s emotional experiences. The actor walks around the set as though he is saying his goodbyes.

“The whole experience has been so completely unanticipated,” Hamill had said.

“I’m able to appreciate it in a way I didn’t the first time around. It’s like closing up a house and moving somewhere else, soaking it all in and knowing that you’re not going to be back.”

This video clip seems to be a very unique and special one to Lucasfilm’s social media channels. Seeing Mark Hamill sneak into Frank Oz’s rehearsal with a few Yoda puppeteers and watching the actor’s reaction when he hears the Jedi Master’s voice is very emotional.

There is a BTS footage of Hamill filming a scene where he watches the Jedi Temple burn after he is confronted by young Ben Solo. While the actor may not be picking up the lightsaber to take the battle to the First Order in Star Wars: Episode IX, Skywalker said it himself:

“No one is ever really gone.”

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is now available on Digital HD, and will be available on Blu-ray and DVD on March 27th.
