Scott Eastwood, the star of upcoming Pacific Rim Uprising would be happy to step into the Wolverine shoes of Hugh Jackman.
While talking to Screen Rant, the actor whose father Clint Eastwood is himself a Hollywood icon discussed the possibility of his playing the next live-action Logan. He was asked about his reaction to being cast as Logan by fans, and he said “I love Wolverine. He’s one of my favorite comic book characters of all time.” Eastwood specifically mentioned that “He’s a renegade…a loose cannon…the kind of character that I love.”
It is true, it is likely to be several years before the new Wolverine emerges on the big screen, and the first step for it would be the finalization of Fox/Disney merger deal. However, if he does get an opportunity, Eastwood said that he would “100 percent” be ready to play Wolverine.
In the last few years, Scott Eastwood has earned a reputation of being a blockbuster film actor. He was a part of Suicide Squad in 2016, and last year he appeared in The Fate of the Furious. Soon, he will be seen alongside John Boyega in Pacific Rim: Uprising.
