This New ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ TV Spot Claims “The End is Near”

A  brand new Avengers: Infinity War TV spot titled “The end is near” has been released.

This 30 second new TV spot, which is in effect a recycled version of the earlier released footage, and a new “end is near” soundbyte, is the first that mentions the revised release date of April 27.

On the March 1st, Marvel Studios had rescheduled the film’s release from May 4 to April 27th, and the news was revealed on social media by the Iron-Man, Robert Downey Jr. himself.

Avengers: Infinity War directors, Joe and Anthony Russo clarified the reason for the sudden change, stating that the change was done “so fans around the world can see it at the same time.”

President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige has called the Avengers: Infinity War as some kind of an ending to the last ten years of the shared Marvel Cinematic Universe, which had got going with the 2008 film Iron-Man.

“The notion of an ending, the notion of a finale, became very intriguing to us, in large part because you don’t see it that often in this particular genre,” Feige told Entertainment Weekly.

The producer, who is generally seen wearing a baseball cap, informed Vanity Fair that the 2019 sequel Avengers 4, will be a “finale” for the present form of MCU, eventually creating “two distinct periods’ of the saga.

According to Feige, there is going to be “everything before Avengers 4 and everything after,” Feige further said that he is aware of the fact that what will come in future “will not be in ways people are expecting.”

The Avengers: Infinity War screenwriters, Steven McFeely and Christopher Markus assured that there would certainly be a farewell for some popular characters in the Avengers: Infinity War. According to Feige, some of those characters will die and remain dead or will exit one way or the other.

Marvel is not holding anything back with Avengers: Infinity War, and as per Downey Jr.” we’re going to pull out the stops, and stop exploring conventions, and look to do stuff where we go, ‘Oh, but if we do that, that’s very, very definitive.’”

“Well, great,” he went on to say “let’s get definitive for a change!”

“We’re like a family now,”the Iron-Man referred to his The Avengers co-stars. “Ten years later, we’re hanging out and having lunch, and kind of wondering when the draft is going to come in. Which one of us bites it and when?”

Avengers: Infinity War releases on April 27th, and its sequel Avengers 4 will release on May 3, next year.
