The Crow which is titled as The Crow Reborn will release on October 11, 2019.  Sony had revealed this news on Friday, and it is being directed by Corin Hardy. Jason Momoa acts as an aspiring rock musician, Eric Draven, who comes back from the dead in order to take revenge on the organization that killed his fiancé.

In December, there were a few reports that had stated that cinematographer, Martijn van Broekhuizen will shoot this movie, with Alex Cameron as the production designer. Raymond Gieringer would be the VFX supervisor.

Many would know The Crow had been released in 1994 and starred Brandon Lee but sadly, Lee had been killed during the production of this movie film after he was wounded by a defective blank which was fired from a gun. And so, the director, Alex Proyas is against a remake:

“I was privileged to know Brandon Lee – he was a young, immensely gifted actor with a great sense of humour and a bright future ahead of him,” Proyas shared in a Facebook post accompanied by a photograph of Brandon Lee as an infant with his father, Bruce Lee. “I was also privileged to have been able to call him a friend. Our working relationship as actor/director went beyond mere collaboration. We crafted a movie together which has touched many people.”
