Most fans would know that Gods are the strongest characters in any given comic book universe. Superman and Wolverine are strong superheroes, but they are not unstoppable and all-powerful. Marvel and DC have many Gods, and they are filled with powerful entities which originate from many dimensions, planets, and super mysterious planes. Some of these Gods live with the superheroes, and some of them take the form of mortals. And others can only be perceived as a concept come to life.
While comparing DC and Marvel, you must have realized that Green Arrow has a whole lot in common with Hawkeye and Deadpool is an exact copy of Deathstroke. So here, we have pitted a few Marvel and DC Gods against each other. Let us see who wins.
1. THOR VS. SHAZAM
Thor is a very recognizable character, but he is not a unique idea. DC showed its version of a God of Thunder, but he pales in comparison to Thor. Shazam has magical powers to go against the Superman, but it is the relationship to lightning which ends this fight. Thor has mastery over lightning, and Shazam calls upon lightning strikes by using a magic word. Ultimately, Thor will win because he can manipulate Shazam’s lightning and transform him into Billy Batson.
2. STORM VS. ISIS
A few characters may not be actual Gods, but they have the power that makes them worshipped. Storm has the ability to control the weather, and she is worshipped as a God in Kenya. Isis is a goddess of nature in Kahndaq. She is more powerful than a mutant, but Ororo is more experienced. If Storm can defeat Wonder Woman, she can easily beat beating Isis.
3. BEYONDER VS. MISTER MXYZPTLK
Marvel and DC have created their versions of the omnipotent beings who meddle with the affairs of mortal beings. Mxyzptlk had predated Marvel’s Beyonder by 40 years. Mxyzptlk, has gone from nuisance to becoming a threat. Beyonder is a member of the Beyonders, and he will be the victor in almost all battles even if his powers have decreased.
4. HELA VS. NEKRON
Hela is an Asgardian and is the Goddess of Death. She is also and ruler of Niflheim. Nekron is an embodiment of death and is the guardian of the nothingness. Hela and Nekron can command legions of the dead, but Hela can die. Nekron is just an entity of death, and he can never really die.
5. Dormammu vs. Anti-Monitor
Dormammu is much more powerful than the worst demons in the universe and Anti-Monitor is the worst destroyers of the Multiverse. Dormammu is magic-based, and Anti-Monitor relies on technology. This is a fight where both are equally powerful, but Dormammu would win.
6. THE WATCHERS VS. THE GUARDIANS OF THE UNIVERSE
The Watchers have been known to take a passive approach to guardianship and crucial events, the Guardians, always take an active role and have founded the Green Lantern Corps. They are both powerful and have abilities to mix technology and inherent abilities. Given the control over the Green Lanterns, the Guardians might actually be victorious in this battle.
7. DARKSEID VS. THANOS
Thanos is not your typical God, and he became an avatar of Death, and he is incapable of dying. Darkseid is more powerful. We could think of situations where Thanos has the Infinity Gauntlet, or Darkseid has the Anti-Life Equation. But otherwise, Darkseid will overpower Thanos.
