Fans who have been loitering around the sets of the upcoming Shazam movie in Toronto finally got a glimpse of Zachary Levi in costume as the title hero.
Viewers were treated to a more detailed look of the Shazam costume which was the same one used in Geoff Johns and Gary Frank’s Shazam! backup featurette in Justice League a few years ago.
Recent photos that surfaced also showed that the setting of the movie would take place around the winter season as a lot of Christmas decorations were seen on the sets. This resembles the comic storyline which also takes place around Christmas.
With the suit is embodied enhanced musculature and looks similar to the Captain America suit from The Avengers.

David F. Sandberg’s Shazam is directing the film.
This will make it a very busy year for the WB Superhero universe with Aquaman hitting theatres in December, Shazam releasing on April 5, 2019. Followed by Wonder Woman 2 releasing in November and rumors of Suicide Squad 2 in 2019 as well.
