So finally we are going to see Nicholas Cage playing Superman! According to the latest piece from comicbook.com, our favorite 90’s action hero Nick Cage has been cast to play Superman in the upcoming Teen Titans Go! Movie. And after reading hearing this news, the whole DC fandom is going crazy because around a few years back Nicholas Cage was confirmed to play Clark Kent a.k.a Superman in Tim Burton’s colossal budget movie Superman Lives.
Unfortunately, that movie never got off the ground and died in the production hell. Ultimately, Zack Snyder took the reigns of the DC Cinematic Universe and gave us the fantastic Man Of Steel that was favored very well by the critics and the fans alike.
A few years later, Tim Burton’s team revealed a short video that showed Nicholas Cage trying different Superman Costumes. Once those short videos hit the Internet, Tim Burton’s lost Superman movie developed a humongous cult following. Even multiple petitions were launched towards Warner Bros to bring back Tim Burton’s dead Superman Project.
In the new Teen Titans animated movie “Teen Titans Go! To The Movies” Nicholas Cage will be lending his voice for Superman’s Character. Cage is a big time Superman fan, and he is very excited to take up this role, in fact the whole team of Teen Titans Go! is exceptionally enthusiastic to bring in Cage for this role. The executive producer Sam Register says –
“Every superhero in the DC Universe has an impact on the fans, so we felt a great responsibility to find a voice for each character that would not only suit the role, but the playful tone of the Titans, and we’re thrilled with our cameo cast,” says executive producer Sam Register.”
