Jeffrey Dean Morgan New Tease Gives Us Some Idea About The Batman In Flashpoint

After the announcement of Aquaman being released this December, fans are now wondering about the next project. An interesting project is Flashpoint, this alt-universe film will star Ezra Miller, and although we do not know much about this, there have been some talk about Jeffrey Dean Morgan taking up the role of Batman.

In 2011, Geoff Johns had written a 5-issue miniseries which was titled, Flashpoint and it saw our Scarlet Speedster going back in time in order to save his mother. He had screwed up the entire timeline and created a world with much darker heroes. This included an alternate Batman who was Thomas Wayne and not Bruce.

The arc has since been adapted as the animated film, Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, and has served as an inspiration for season 3 of The Flash TV series.  It is unconfirmed if this will happen but it seems more. Morgan has teased this a number times, and during a panel at Walker Stalker Con in New Jersey, he had told his fans that “there’s a role in the DC universe” which he is eyeing. He did not reveal anything further.

Flashpoint is yet to have a director and has been pushed back from 2018 to a 2020 release and now that Ezra Miller’s version of The Flash has become a fan-favourite, we hope to see this project become a priority for Warner Bros.
