Die Hard is now celebrating the 30th anniversary and the franchise does not show any signs of closing up. There is an update on Die Hard 6 throughBruce Willis on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. And this star had confirmed that the project has life and he is “about to wing out to California to start to see what the script looks like.”
When he had been asked whether Die Hard 6 was happening, Willis had said, “I think so, yeah.”

With Live Free or Die Hard director Len Wiseman attached, the movie will serve as a prequel/sequel and will flash back and forth between McClane and his present self.
This role of a younger McClane has not yet been cast, and Wiseman had said, “The right casting for this role is crucial. Those bare feet have some very big shoes to fill.”
Willis and Fallon had discussed that Die Hard has been added to the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress.
“There was a slow start on that one,” the actor said. “But then, it arced.”
