Can It Be True? Is The Joker Really Robin?

Well, we all know that waiting for a superhero film can be very hard. And many of the fans always obsessively analyze the promos and trailers and try and figure out the plots points. This may produce a few weird theories, and this was the case for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. It had been speculated that Jason Todd, the second Robin, is the DCCU’s Joker as seen in Suicide Squad.

Reddit user, DeathByRequest had noticed something unusual from the two pictures (below): Joker’s Suicide Squad portrait and the Robin suit in latest Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. If one does look closely, they will notice two circular marks on Joker’s shoulders which DeathByRequest says that it might be “a gunshot, puncture, or burn mark.”

When we look at the Robin suit, we can see two similar marks on the shoulders, and this goes with the previous speculation that Joker’s tattoos may be clues to Jason being the Clown Prince of Crime.

Jason Todd eventually being Joker is a very creepy twist, and this leaves two possibilities where the first is that he did not die but had been tortured by The Joker and this had killed him in a metaphorical way.

The second one is that he had been killed but then became insane after he came back to life and he took Joker’s identity.  This will not be the first time that Robin becomes The Joker. The 2000 animated film Batman Beyond: Return of The Joker had surprised all the fans when they had revealed that the Joker who was causing chaos was Bruce Wayne’s sidekick, Tim Drake.

Ben Affleck and Jared Leto are the same age, and if one character is older, one can imagine them having fought for many years. Batman is a very intelligent person, and if he cannot figure this one out, he will know that is someone masquerading as his nemesis.

Making Jason The Joker is a very wasted opportunity. Jason had been revived and became The Red Hood, an identity which was used by a man who eventually became The Joker. Jason had been dishing out the brand of justice on criminals, and the target was the monster who killed him. Batman dealt with the sidekick being alive and Red Hood and had to stop Jason’s crusade to kill the Joker.

The fans will have to wait to get an answer to the Joker and Robin theory.
