Born as Daliah Lewinbuck orr Levenbuch, on 12 October 1942 (died 3 May 2017) was an Israeli actress, singer and model. She was born in Shavel Tzion, British Mandate of Palestine to Ruth and Reuben Lewinbuck who had German Jewish and Russian Jewish origins. She was ten years of age when she met Kirk Douglas, who was in Israel to make the film The Juggler and she told him that she wanted to be a dancer. Douglas helped convince her parents to send her to Stockholm, Sweden to learn ballet.
