Born in Kailua Kona, Hawaii, Lokelani McMichael is an American triathlete, surfer, model and actress. Back in October 1995, Lokelani became the youngest female ever to finish the Hawaii Ironman, when she was only 18 years of age. Lokelani McMichael, whose real name is Lokelaniku’uleimakamae, entered her first Ironman triathlon I 1995, when she was 18-years-old, and she outplayed almost 48,000 people to become eligible for one of the almost 2,000 spots in the 140.6 mile triathlon. This achievement also got her a place among the Guinness Book of World Record holders as the youngest woman ever to finish the Ironman.

McMichael’s parents are the owner of a famous surf shop in Kailua-Kona (the home of the Hawaii Ironman), and they provided water safety for the swim portion for a number of years. McMichael was crowned Miss Kona Coffee in 1999, and Maxim magazine placed her on #93 in their Hot 100 of 2005 list.
