Born on July 7, 1959, Jessica Hahn is an American model and actress. She had accused televangelist Jim Bakker of rape while she used to work as a church secretary. She often appeared on The Howard Stern Show during the late 1980s and into the 2000s. Hahn was first noticed after Jim Bakker’s announcement on March 19, 1987 that he was going to step down as head of PTL Satellite Network and Heritage USA, anticipating the imminent revelation of a sexual encounter between the two of them. Hahn mentioned that on the afternoon of December 6, 1980, when she was 21 and working as a church secretary, she was drugged by and raped by Bakker and another preacher, John Wesley Fletcher for nearly 15 minutes. Hahn was paid $279,000 to keep quiet, and it was paid with PTL’s funds to Hahn through Bakker’s associate Roe Messner. Bakker who took all the financial decisions for the PTL organisation, reportedly kept two sets of books to hide his financial wrongdoings. Reporters from The Charlotte Observer, led by Charles Shepard, investigated and published various articles related to PTL organization’s finances. This led to Bakker’s resignation and the revelation of Hahn’s claims. In his 1997 book, I Was Wrong, Bakker refuted Hahn’s version, claiming that he was “set up” and that the sex between them was consensual.

After the Bakker scandal came to light, Hahn appeared nude for Playboy (November 1987, December 1987 and September 1988), and in videos. She appeared on a number of TV shows such as Married… with Children. She was also famous for her frequent appearances on The Howard Stern Show from the late 1980s into the 2000s. After the media buzz, she bunkered into her new California home.

Hahn was born in Massapequa, New York, and graduated from Massapequa High School. She was in a relationship with comedian Sam Kinison and featured in his music video for “Wild Thing” in 1988. In 1991, she was in a relationship with the co-creator of Married…with Children, Ron Leavitt and their relationship continued until his death in 2008.

In December 2017, Hahn revealed that she had married Frank Lloyd. She was no longer active in show business and is living on a ranch north of Los Angeles.
