There have been so many theories floating around about Marvel’s Infinity War movie but can we believe the ones that are claiming that major characters will be killed off?
Joe Russo and Anthony Russo have not officially given any definitive answers on this subject although they are raising the stakes with Infinity War. When they were asked about this during a set visit, they did not give any direct answers. But whatever answer they did give, does not really sound that great for the fans who want to see the Avengers get out alive of this movie.
This is what Anthony Russo had to say:
“We’ll say this. We like mature storytelling. We like dramatic storytelling. We like intense storytelling. I think we appreciate conflict, and we appreciate stakes. And without stakes, there really isn’t a lot of value to the story. And I think if you look at the Marvel Universe as a whole, as a story that’s been told for ten years, you can look at this as the climax. And the stakes will be higher in this movie than they’ve ever been. Times ten.”
Yes, it might be pretty difficult for the Marvel fans to accept that some of their heroes will not make it out alive and also, the MCU had a whole lot of fake-out deaths that are a little frustrating. As Kevin Feige had said, the fans who have complained about character deaths not being permanent, have to be careful what they wish for.
Robert Downey Jr. had recently given out a warning with regards to the characters of Infinity War. The major Marvel actors’ contracts are now coming to an end after Avengers 4 next year, and so from a practical point of view, it makes sense to kill off a few of them.
Avengers: Infinity War will release on April 27.
