The shy billionaire, who become one of the youngest self-made billionaires in the world when Facebook’s popularity grew, managed to convince Priscilla he was serious about seeing her when he told her that “[he’d] rather be on a date with her than finish his midterm.”

The couple married in a low-key ceremony in 2012, automatically making Chan one of the wealthiest women in the world.

Sadly, Jobs passed away from cancer in 2012. Most of Job’s wealth is thought to have been passed down to Laurene.
