The following scenes had been filmed much before the re-shoots of Justice League and had been shown to the WB Executives who do not know the art of perfection. Here is a list of longer and deleted scenes from this movie:
LONGER:
Here, we see Bruce recruiting Aquaman, and it was the same scene like the theatrical version, but some lines had been added by Whedon, and a few of Zack’s lines were cut out. Aquaman was more resilient and much more shut-off to Bruce in Zack Snyder’s version.
DELETED:
Barry Allen visits the library, and he knows that Iris West is there. He tells her that “he may go and see his Dad today.” Iris is fond of his awkwardness and not think of him as her special someone. Barry is seen breaking a window with just his finger. When everyone looks shocked, he says “weak glass” and walks out.
LONGER:
WB cut the dialogue by Green Lantern, Ares, and Zeus. Robin Wright and Hippolyta also had a few lines and these were deleted too just to keep the action in.
DELETED:
After having taken the Mother Box from Themiscyra, Steppenwolf then speaks to his Box. Heggra is present in the Mother Boxes and when they are brought together, they unleash her powers.

Victor plays a football match where his mother watches. Victor is furious that his father did not attend this and the mother attempts to console him but he gets angry and lashes out.
LONGER
The Gordon scene was a setup which did not see in the final cut. He dismisses a Junkie tells him to “get better at life.” The conversation with the Justice League was much longer. He had asks Wonder Woman “if she is the same woman that he keeps seeing reports of in London.” And then to Cyborg, he asks “how he eats and if he needs to?”.

Aquaman consults Vulko and Mera about what he must do, and Mera then says that he must be the King as she “does not trust Orm.” Arthur then says that he does feel a sense of responsibility to those on Earth.

The League goes to the Batcave. Bruce Wayne talks about a “nightmare” which he had and says that Steppenwolf was trying to resurrect Superman.
CHANGED
Superman’s resurrection could happen because Cyborg had detected a foreign material in the DNA. This confirmation was required and had Superman brought back to life.

Deathstroke helps Lex get freed from prison and they part ways as the cops are on the look out for them.

The Man of Steel brings Lois to the farm, and he is very confused. Bystanders look at him and take photos. This again confuses him more, and he then tries to attack them, but Lois calms him. He then tells her that “the voices won’t shut up.” Martha, Clark, and Lois are inside their house and Clark is calm and confused. Martha gives the “Picture the world as an Island. Follow my voice and come back to me” speech. This then again calms him. Clark wears his shirt as he sees Pa Kent. Pa Kent speaks about “embracing who you are.” Clark embraces Superman when Lois walks out and confirms their engagement.

In a deleted scene, Clark meets Alfred and gets his Superman suit.
CHANGED
Diana tends to Bruce’s, and he reveals that he is willing to die and he then says “he deserves to die because of what he’s done. He has killed people and not even his hatred for the Man of Steel can justify killing. Diana tells, “he has changed now, ” but Bruce is very adamant.
CHANGED
Bruce’s Batmobile is headed to crash, and if it does, he will die, but Wonder Woman and Aquaman save his life.
ALTERNATE ENDING:
Cyborg attempts to separate the Mother Boxes and Heggratalks him away. Steppenwolf then rips him apart and kills him.

Superman joins the battle but Steppenwolf tries to tempt Superman to join his side and we see Darkseid in Superman’s vision.

Steppenwolf is finally killed by Darkseid on Apokolips.

Barry and Bruce place Victor’s “body” in the Batcave and Bruce says that “the organic tissue is dead, but it might be possible to reignite his mechanical parts.”
