Samsung Galaxy J4 will join the ranks of “budgets” from the Korean vendor

A couple of weeks ago, enthusiasts found in the firmware for Samsung Galaxy Note 8 mention of smartphones Galaxy J4 and Galaxy J6, and a day ago benchmark Geekbench shared information about the new smartphone SM-J400F, which was tested. It features a pre-installed operating system Android 8.0 Oreo, a quad-core processor with a clock speed of 1.4 GHz and 2 GB of RAM.

AnTuTu confirmed the characteristics of the frameless Nubia NX606J

A few days ago we wrote about a new smartphone Nubia NX606J, which was attributed to the USB Type-C connector, a dual main camera, an infrared port and a virtually frameless design.

The authoritative AnTuTu benchmark unexpectedly published its characteristics, confirming its belonging to the flagship devices.

Nubia Z18 – namely under this name smartphone debuts – equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, graphics accelerator Adreno 630, 6 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory. The screen resolution is 2160×1080 pixels. In the synthetic test the device scored a record 271 674 points. Earlier, the unofficial record was set by the flagship Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus, earning 26,526 “parrots” in AnTuTu.

Nokia 7 Plus showed on the “live” photo

At the end of this week Evan Blass demonstrated high-quality renderings of the new smartphone Nokia 7 Plus, which will be released as part of the Android One program. A day ago, insiders from China published photos of the real Nokia 7 Plus, giving us the opportunity to compare the original with the renderers.

Frames around the display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 seem insignificant, and the front of the smartphone is covered with tempered glass 2.5D. Its diagonal is 6 inches, resolution – 2160×1080 pixels. On the right is the front camera. Inside Nokia 7 Plus there is a Snapdragon 660 processor, 4 GB of RAM. On the back panel are two cameras for 12 and 13 Mp, as well as a fingerprint scanner.

Nokia 7 Plus, 1, 8 Sirocco, the international version 6 (2018) and 3310 4G can present on February 25 at MWC 2018.

LeEco prepares the “frameless” Le X

LeEco plans to launch a new smartphone model with an updated, up-to-date design. The device called LeEco Le X will be equipped with a frameless design and a display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Renders of the novelty appeared on the Weibo website, but their authenticity hasn’t been confirmed yet.

On the render you can distinguish four cameras – two on each side. Technical details aren’t given, as is the date of a possible announcement.

Sony decided to change the design of the flagship after certification

Few days remain until the Barcelona exhibition Mobile World Congress 2018, but this didn’t stop Sony from a very controversial move. On February 7, the management sent a letter to the FCC with a request to withdraw the registration certificate to one of the smartphones. The device isn’t yet on sale anywhere, and the reason for revoking the document is a design change.

Whether it’s external or internal changes is unclear, but the update may lead to a change in the performance of the smartphone’s components, which means that Sony will have to undergo certification again. It’s expected that the novelties of the Japanese vendor will be presented on February 26.
