Mark Hamill Doesn’t Think Luke Skywalker Is Dead

In Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Rian Johnson might have killed the character of Luke Skywalker, but this has not deterred Mark Hamill, the person who had played Luke since 1977 from believing that this Jedi is alive.

In a recent interview, Hamill had made it very clear that he has not said his goodbyes to the Star Wars universe:

“I refuse to believe that he’s gone. My theory is he just teleported to somewhere else and left his robe behind.”

In the 8th movie of Star Wars, to save General Leia and the Rebel squad, Luke had used the Force for projecting himself into the battle against Kylo Ren.

It was a trick and stalled the villain, and Leia’s team then escaped. It had taken a lot out of the character, and we had seen Luke evaporating into thin air. The fans want this character to be alive, and this is what the actor had to say, “He teleported to a nudist colony, that’s what I’m hoping.”

J.J. Abrams is now directing Episode IX, and all fans are super eager to see if Luke will be returning.

Written and directed by Rian Johnson, Star Wars: The Last Jedi stars Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Anthony Daniels, Lupita Nyong’o, Benicio Del Toro, Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern, and late Carrie Fisher.

This movie will arrive on March 13 on Digital HD and March 27 on Blu-ray 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and On-Demand.
