You can see God of Thunder’s brother Loki encircled by the Black Order in the trailer. Let’s introduce you to the members of the evil team!
Beginning from left to right, Proxima Midnight, Loki, Ebony Maw, Corvus Glaive and Cull Obsidian are in attendance.
The creatures have been created using CGI and will have identifiable voices, as per Kevin Feige, chief of Marvel Studios. Feige informed Vulture that there are some “interesting people” who have voiced the villains. Feige declined to name them, but said, “you’ll probably know when you see the movie.”
In the Marvel comic books, the most aggressive and adept fighter in Thanos’ Black Order happens to be Proxima Midnight. She is a nearly unbeatable warrior with powers such as superhuman strength, endurance, and speed. Her weapon of choice is a deadly spear forged by Thanos himself.
Ebony Maw has a genius level intellect, whereas, Thanos’ right-hand guy Corvus, wields a glaive sharp enough to slice atoms.
Apart from being gifted with superhuman strength and endurance, Glaive also leverages his position as an expert strategist and tactician to support his boss in the war against Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, in tandem with Cull Obsidian, who was called as “Black Dwarf” in comic books.
The extremely powerful Black Dwarf wields an ax and has abilities such as density and impenetrable skin.
You can also see Ebony Maw (resembling Lord Voldemort greatly), torturing Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) who has in his possession, one of the Infinity Stones that Thanos (Josh Brolin) is after.
Marvel’s mega-hit Black Panther is currently playing and Avengers: Infinity War will be out on April 27. The last Marvel Cinematic Universe release of 2018 will be Ant-Man and the Wasp on July 6.
