Aquaman’s Comic Book Accurate Costume Is Hinted To Be In The Movie

All DC fans are now waiting for a teaser for Aquaman, but we do not know when this may land. Although a new tweet seems to be hinting at one interesting detail.

Twitter account, @AquamanShrine had shared a rumor, and this reveals the costume that Arthur Curry/Aquaman (Jason Momoa) will be wearing in the solo movie. According to a patron at Warner Bros’ licensing event, the costume shown during this event is just like the orange and green suit in the comics.

This may provide a very interesting angle for the Aquaman movie and one that differs from Arthur’s appearance in DC’s latest outing, Justice League. This makes sense considering the very narrative of Justice League, and this hints that Arthur has borrowed the outfit from Mera (Amber Heard).

“He’s not the king yet,” Momoa has said.

“He looks to Mera, and he goes ‘I need to borrow something. I need you to do me a favor’, so that’s when she gives him the equipment.”

Apart from the conundrum about Superman’s black suit, one rumor that got debunked surrounding Justice League was that Mera would wear a suit. It is a bit too early to tell if Jason Momoa’s Aquaman will wear the classic suit.

Aquaman will release on December 21, 2018.
