After Avengers in 2012, the MCU has been slowly building towards a huge confrontation between Earth’s mightiest heroes and Thanos. The Mad Titan is on a journey to find all the Infinity Stones. Thanos might be super powerful, but his Black Order is much more dangerous and terrifying. Yes, there are only 5 members, but the Black Order has some of Marvel’s deadliest villains. Here are 6 reasons why The Black Order is much more dangerous than Thanos:
1. PROXIMA MIDNIGHT TAKES DOWN THE GOD OF THUNDER
Proxima Midnight could easily destroy Thor. Odinson did not have his Mjolnir as he was unworthy of it, but he is a very capable fighter. The Black Order and Thor are on the hunt for a hammer, and almost everyone is pulled into this madness.
2. EBONY MAW TRICKS DR. STRANGE
Ebony Maw has a very subtle ability and is very persuasive. He had forced Doctor Strange to summon Shuma-Gorath and used him as a spy to look at the actions of the Illuminati. Doctor Strange had revealed that the Eye of Agamotto is an Infinity Stone and it is very obvious that he will be a sure shot target in Infinity War.
3. FINISH OFF THE X-MEN
Professor Xavier might not have been around, but the X-Men is a very a strong team. Wolverine and Jean Grey can easily lead the powerful group. Instead of sending the whole team for taking down the X-Men, Corvus Glaive and Supergiant attack our favorite mutants. In spite of the strength of the X-Men, Supergiant says that she only considers Iceman to be a huge threat and Glaive easily impaled Logan.
4. DESTROYING THE HULK
The Hulk is a character who Thanos fears, but it does not mean that Hulk is invulnerable. After having received a huge blow from Thanos, the Hulk faces a fight from Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight. Captain America then interfered and saved his life.
5. NAMOR KNEELS BEFORE PROXIMA
Before Namor had joined forces with the Black Order, he was a
very prideful King who tried to do what is best for his people. Namor was soon at a low-point, and he was looking for a way to strike back at T’Challa. Proxima Midnight then arrives in Atlantis, and Namor tells Midnight that Wakanda is the location of the final Infinity Gem.
6. SUPER POWER HUNGRY
The Black Order might serve Thanos, but this does not mean that every member is not there to suit their personal interests. The members of the Black Order cannot stand up to Thanos individually, but as a team, they are very powerful.
These menaces have a blood-lust which knows no bounds. They help Thanos in his search for new planets but also travel the multiverse to destroy other Earths… well, just for fun.
