Born as Noureen Ahmed on February 28, 1984, in New York City, she is an American actress known professionally as Noureen DeWulf. Noureen’s parents are of Indian origins from Pune, India. She was raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia and attended Boston University. She speaks Hindi, Urdu and Gujarati fluently.

DeWulf’s acting career started with the Academy Award winning short film West Bank Story, where she had played the lead role of Fatima, a singing and dancing Palestinian cashier who fell in love with an Israeli soldier. She has worked in comedic television shows and movies ever since. From 2009- 2011, she played recurring roles on NBC’s Outsourced, TNT’s Hawthorne, and MTV’s The Hard Times of RJ Berger, and also featured in the Lifetime miniseries Maneater. DeWulf has appeared in various box-office hits such as Ocean’s Thirteen, and The Back-Up Plan. She starred opposite Matthew McConaughey as Melanie, the present ghost in the movie Ghosts of Girlfriends Past and opposite Jeremy Piven in The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard. In the year 2009, she featured in The Taqwacores which premiered at Sundance in 2010. She had co-starred with Charlie Sheen in the TV series Anger Management, which premiered on June 28, 2012 on FX and ended in December 2014. In 2014, DeWulf won Best Actress award at the Comedy Ninja Film and Screenplay Festival for her role as a murderous temp in the independent movie Coffee, Kill Boss! in the same year, Maxim magazine ranked her #93 in its “Hot 100” for the second time (she was earlier on the list in 2007), as she was considered to be among the most desirable women on the planet as per the readers of the magazine. In 2009, she was placed on the Nylon Magazine’s “Top 30 under 30.” DeWulf has also appeared in pictorial in Details, Men’s Health, Zink, Giant and Complex magazines. In 2015, DeWulf was cast on Hockey Wives, a reality series featuring the wives and girlfriends of professional hockey players, and she is still a part of it.

In June 2000, she had married the avant-garde artist James DeWulf. While they were married, Noureen started using James’ surname as her stage name. They divorced January 2010, after having been married for ten years. On September 3, 2011, DeWulf married National Hockey League goaltender Ryan Miller in Los Angeles. They have one child.
