Born as Kimberleigh Marie Zolciak on May 19, 1973, she is an American TV personality in the year 2008. She became famous as one of the original housewives on the reality TV series The Real Housewives of Atlanta that aired on Bravo. Kim Zolciak was born in Pensacola, Florida in a military family and she was raised in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. She has Polish and Italian origins and was raised Roman Catholic.

She was 17 when Zolciak had an affair with a Windsor Locks police sergeant who had interviewed her as a witness in a criminal investigation, and that resulted in the officer’s firing at first. The termination was later turned to a 45-day unpaid suspension. She graduated from East Catholic High School in Manchester, Connecticut in 1996, and studied nursing at the University of Connecticut. She was 21 when she relocated to Atlanta, Georgia where her parents had moved to, and ultimately settled in a suburb of Johns Creek.

Zolciak-Biermann left The Real Housewives of Atlanta in the year 2012 during the series’ fifth season. Earlier in 2012, she received her solo spin-off show Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding, that focused on the preparation of her wedding to footballer Kroy Biermann. The series received a renewal with a shortened title. Don’t be Tardy. The season four of the show premiered on August 16, 2015. In the year 2015, she was among the contestants of the 21^st season of the dancing competition series Dancing With The Stars.

Zolciak has two daughters from her past relationships. Brielle Karenna (born February 25, 1997), and Ariana Lenee (born October 17, 2001). She was married to Daniel Toce from 2001 to 2003.

In May 2010, Zolciak met Atlanta Falcons football player Kroy Biermann at the charity event Dancing with Atlanta Stars.
