Born as Cassandra Lynn Scerbo on March 30, 1990, she is an American actress, singer and dancer. Scerbo was born on Long Island, New York. She has Italian roots and grew up in Parkland, Florida and she used to play soccer for the Parkland Soccer Club. She resided in Florida from her kindergarten days until she got cast in Make It Or Break It. She studied at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland. In the year 2006, she successfully auditioned for a music girl group Slumber Party Girls. Scerbo was selected as one of the five members from more than 1000 applicants. In September 2006, the group was the host of a children’s music variety series Dance Revolution that promoted nutrition and fitness among children. In April 2010, she had made an appearance with her Make It Or Break It castmate Chelsea Hobbs in a CSI:Miami episode.

In the year 2011, Scerbo starred in ABC Family original film Teen Spirit. Scerbo played the role of the Queen Bee of high school who gets electrocuted, but, doesn’t get an entry into heaven until she helps the school’s least popular girl become the prom queen. Filming was done in Wilmington, North Carolina. The movie premiered in August 2011 on ABC Family.

In Augustt 2012, Scerbo declared that she is the godmother to Tiffany Thornton’s son. In the year 2013, Scerbo played a starring role in a Syfy origina film Sharknado as bartender Nova Clarke, and she reprised the character in Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!, Sharknado 5: Global Swarming (2017) and finally in The Last Sharknado: It’s About Time in 2018 during which her character transformed into a weathered Sharknado fighter.
