Born as Katrina Laverne Taylor on December 3, 1974, she is an American rapper renowned as Trina. Trina’s father belonged to the Dominican Republic and her mother is from The Bahamas. They separated when she was growing up and she grew up in Liberty City and in Pembroke Isle, Florida.
