Born as Stephanie Ann Davis, she is an English actress. Davis had an early start to her career as a child actress. She landed the role of Greti von Trapp in the Liverpool Empire Theatre’s production of The Sound of Music at the age of eight. After two years, she was seen in the titular role in the production of Annie and later as Little Nell in Her Benny.

Davis played a number of small TV roles such as appearances in Holby City, Doctors and Parents of the Band. In the year 2010, Davis participated in Over the Rainbow, a BBC talent-hunt searching for an actress/singer to appear as Dorothy Gale in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s production of The Wizard of Oz. She moved to the fifth week, where she was voted out after a song-duel with Stephanie Fearon.

After she appeared in Over the Rainbow, Davis was cast as Sinead O’Connor in Hollyoaks. While she was initially slated to appear in late August, Davis made her debut on the show on 1 September 2010. On 16 July 2015, Davis’ contract was terminated. According to her agent, she was fired from the show because she arrived on set, “unfit for work.” In May 2018, Davis announced that she was going to make a comeback to Hollyoaks as Sinead, almost three years after she was fired.
