Born as Lisa Rani Ray on 4^th April 1972, she is an Indian Canadian actress, model, TV host, philanthropist, and social activist. Lisa was born in Toronto, Canada to a Bengali Hindu father and a Polish mother. She was raised in the suburb of Etobicoke. She used to talk to her maternal grandmother in Polish and watched films of Federico Fellini and Satyajit Ray with her movie buff father. During her early years, she spent a bit of time in Calcutta.
