Born on April 14, 1988 as Kristina Igorevna Asmus in Korolyov near Moscow, Russia, she is a Russian theater and film actress. She is best known for her TV role in the medical sitcom Interns. Maxim magazine called her the sexiest Russian woman for the year 2010. She comes from an athletic background and was active in gymnastics. She rose to the level of Candidate for Master of Sports. Her younger sister, Karina Myasnikova was a member of Russian national gymnastics team. During her school time, she played a part in the
performance of E. Makhonin’s “The Dawns Here Are Quiet…” in theater “MEL”, and after she graduated from high school in the play ‘Portrait of Mademoiselle Tarzhi” in Youth Theatre city of Korolyov.
In the year 2005, she entered the Moscow Art Theatre School in Konstantin Raikin’s course, but, didn’t finish it. In 2008, Asmus entered the Theater School. She made her on-screen debut in the role of Vari Chernous in a comedy series Interns. She modelled for Maxim in 2010.
In the year 2011, Asmus became the TV Actress of the Year according to Glamour magazine. In 2013, Kristina was given Fashion People Award as
Fashion actress. At present, she is an actress associated with Moscow Drama Tehater Yermolova.
