Born on December 5, 1980 in Montreal, Quebec, Jessica Pare is a Canadian actress and singer. She grew up in the Montreal neighborhood of Notre- Dame-de-Grace and has three brothers. She is fluent in English and French. Her father was an actor and drama teacher who toured with a theatre company and her mother acted in amateur productions. Pare used to watch her father at rehearsals during her childhood and became interested in acting while she used to help him learn his lines for a production of The Tempest.
