Born as Izabela Dorota Skorupko in Bialystok, Poland on June 4, 1970, she is a Polish-Swedish actress, singer and model. Her parents were Lech, a musician, and Magdalena Skorupko, a doctor. She was only one year old when her parents separated, and she stayed with her mother. In the year 1978, they relocated to Bredang in Stockholm, Sweden where she learned to speak Swedish, English and French.

During the late 1980s, Scorupco travelled all over Europe, working as a model and also appeared on the cover of Vogue. In the year 1987, director Steffan Hildebrand discovered her and she starred in the film Ingen Kan Aiska Som Vi (Nobody Can Love Like Us). In the early 1990s, she briefly had a successful career as a pop singer and released an album IZA which received gold certification in Sweden in 1991. On December 25, 1996, Scorupco married Polish ice hockey player Mariusz Czerkawski. The couple had one daughter together, Julia (born on September 15, 1997) and they divorced in the following year.

Subsequently, Scorupco married an American named Jeffrey Raymond on January 30, 2003. They have a son Jakob (born on July 24, 2003). They divorced in 2015. Scorupco now resides in Los Angeles and New York City.

In the year 2011, Scorupco once again relaunched her career as a singer, and duetted with Swedish musician Peter Joback in his single Jag Har Dig Nu and also featured in the music video for the song. She also starred in Joback’s short extention movie La Vie, L’amour, La Mort. Scorupco hosted spring 2012 series of Sweden’s Next Model, but, didn’t host it for the second series.

Scorupco entered the world of comedy in July 2013 when she was chosen to play a lead role in a new Swedish romantic comedy project Micke & Veronica, alongside David Hellenius. It premiered on December 25, 2014.
