Born on August 9, 1991 as Alexis Kaufman in Columbus, Ohio, she is an American professional wrestler who is currently signed to WWE and performs on the Raw brand under the ring name of Alexa Bliss. She has been active in sports since she was five and has competed in softball, track, kickboxing, and gymnastics. In cheerleading, she used to perform with Hillard Davidson High School and she teached Division I status in college at the University of Akron. She has also indulged in competitive bodybuilding and has took part in the Arnold Classic. She was 15 when Kaufman was faced with a life-threatening eating disorder, but, she overcame it with the help of bodybuilding.

She signed a deal with WWE in May 2013, and was assigned to the WWE Performance Center and developmental brand NXT in Orlando, Florida. Bliss debuted on the SmackDown brand, and went on to become the SmackDown Women’s Champion and also the first competitor to win the title twice. She was moved to Raw in 2017 and won the Raw Women’s Championship in April 2017, thus, becoming the first woman ever to have won the Raw and the SmackDown Women’s titles in the history of WWE. In February 2018, she won the first ever women’s Elimination Chamber match. She also won the 2018 Money in the Bank ladder match and cashed in the contract later at night to win her third RAW Women’s Championship, becoming a five-time overall champion.

Since January 7, 2019, Bliss was assigned an interview segment titled “Moment of Bliss” where she interviews various guests. On January 27, 2019, during the Royal Rumble, after a five month absence from the ring, Bliss took part in her first women’s Royal Rumble match, lasting 12 minutes and she eliminated Ember Moon and Sonya Deville before Bayley and Carmella eliminated her.

Bliss has made appearance in three WWE games and her in-game debut was in WWE 2K17. She also appeared in WWE2K18 and recently in WWE 2K19.
