Born as Aleksandra Nikolayevna Bortich on September 24, 1994 in Svietlahorsk, Svietlahorsk District, Gomel Region, Belarus. Her parents divorced when she was very young. She moved with her mother to the city named Grodno. She attended school in Moscow. During her childhood she attended the music school and played various instruments especially the saxophone. In the tenth grade Aleksandra Bortich attended the theater studio at the Pioneers Palace. That’s when she realized that she had to become an actress. The film won the main prize at the 11^th International Film Festival “Baltic Debuts” in Svetlogorsk, Kaliningrad Oblast and also a special prize “For Light Breath and Artistic Integrity” at the 25^th Russian Open Film Festival Kinotavr in Sochi, Russia. She played a role in the 2015 film About Love by Anna Melkian which made her more famous among the public. The film received the main prize of the 26^th Kinotavr Festival. Bortich appeared in the film The Elusive (2015) wherein she had to ride arund Moscow naked, on a horse. She also starred in its sequel, The Elusive: Jackpot which released in 2016. In the year 2016, Bortich played Rogneda in a historical action film Viking. In the same year, she played a role in the series Police from Rubiyovka. She was also seen I the series Jackal (2016) which was the continuation of a trilogy of the series Mosgaz (2012) and Executioner (2014). She appeared in a lead role in the 2018 comedy film I Am Losing Weight and for that role she had to lose 20 kg during the filming.

She was in a relationship with Russian actor Ilya Malanin. They met first on the set of the film The Elusive (2015). Towards the end of 2016, they separated. According to the film website Kinopoisk, Aleksandra Bortich was the most popular actress for the year 2017.
