Born on November 5, 1967, Judy Reyes is an American TV actress, famous for her roles as Carla Espinosa on the NBC/ABC sitcom Scrubs (2001-2009), and as Zoila Diaz in the Lifetime comedy-drama Devious Maids (2013-2016). As of 2017, she was seen as Annalise “Quiet Ann” Zayas in the TNT crime comedy-drama, Claws. Reyes was born in The Bronx, New York and her parents were Dominican immigrants. Reyes was raised on Bainbridge Avenue, from the age of 13 until she was 25-26 years old. She attended Hunter College in Manhattan, where she started her career as an actress.

During the early 1990s, Reyes started working on television and played guest-starring roles in numerous shows such as Law & Order, NYPD Blue, and The Sopranos.
