Born on December 28, 1983 in Ipatinga, Minas Gerais, Brazil as Flavia Renata Delaroli Cazziolato, she is an Olympic and National Record holding freestyle Brazilian swimmer. She resides in Sao Paulo and represented her country in the 2004 and 2008 Olympic Games.

Dalaroli was only fifteen years of age when she participated in the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg, where she was a member of the bronze medal winning team in the 4×100 metre freestyle relay and was also placed 4^th in the individual 50 metre freestyle race. Dalaroli won her first major international medal when she won the silver medal in the 50 metre freestyle and the bronze in the 4×100 metre freestyle relay during the 2003 Pan American Games in Santo Domingo. Her Olympic debut happened in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens where she was a finalist in the 50 metre freestyle event, and finished at the 8^th place. She was also placed 12^th in the 4x100metre freestyle relay. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, she finished 22^nd in the 50 metre freestyle. She also reached the 13^th place in the 4×100 metre freestyle.

At the 2011 World Aquatics Championships in Shanghai, she was placed 18^th in the 50 metre freestyle and 13^th in the 4×100 metre freestyle. In the same year, at the Pan American Games in Guadalajara, she won the silver medal in the 4x 100 metre freestyle, and was also placed 6^th in the 50-metre freestyle.

Delaroli’s last competitive appearance was at the 2012 FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) in Istanbul. She reached the 50 metre freestyle final, but, finished in the 8^th place and also at the 6^th place in the 4×100 metre freestyle final.
