After The Force Awakens in 2015, a few had theorized a romantic connection between Rey and Kylo Ren and the hashtag #Reylo became popular. The posts were accompanied by proof and praise of this theory. While some fans have been complaining about Rey being a “Mary Sue” or why Oscar Isaac did not get screen time, the case for Reylo is more compelling.
After The Last Jedi had released, Relyo had been approaching a critical mass and the fans have evidence to back up what they had presumed and And while there are no open evidence of the “love” between these characters, there was a bond. In spite of the bittersweet moment in The Last Jedi, a few fans managed to see a little ray of hope for Reylo.
