11. Sandra Bullock
Sandra Bulock proved that her reputation as a loving person was genuine when she adopted son Louis Bardo from New Orleans when the boy was an infant.

Initially, Sandra planned the adoption with former husband Jesse James, but when the marriage went south, Sandra adopted Louis on her own. Speaking about life before Louis, Sandra said, “I had no idea what love was.”
Sandra Bullock also adopted a child in the uplifting sports movie, The Blind Side.
12. Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman
Once America’s most famous married couple, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman were the Brangelina of their time when they adopted Isabella and Connor back in the early ’90s.

However, Kidman’s presence in their lives had dwindled over the years following Cruise’s relationship with Scientology, which is thought to be the reason why the couple divorced in 2001.
13. Jillian Michaels
Jillian Michaels, whose longtime run as a trainer on The Biggest Loser catapulted her to celebrity status, chose to adopt a little girl from Haiti. “I went over to visit orphanages, and I ended up falling in love with this little girl,” said Michaels. “By the grace of God, I got matched up with her.”

Lukensia was two years old when Michaels brought her back to the States. Ironically, Jillian’s partner, Heidi Rhoades, gave birth to a son the same week that Lukensia’s adoption was final.
14. Katherine Heigl
The blonde bombshell actress and her handsome husband, the singer Josh Kelley, share two adopted children: daughter Naleigh from South Korea and daughter Adelaide from America.

The couple also has a naturally conceived baby boy, who was born in 2016.
15. Sharon Stone
After suffering many miscarriages after failing to conceive with her then-husband Phil Bronstein, Stone adopted her first child, Roan, soon after.

The iconic actress went onto adopt two more sons, Laird and Quinn, though Stone lost custody of her first child to Bronstein in 2008 after a judge ruled she couldn’t provide a stable environment for him to grow up in.
